Your trek starts after your arrival in Lukla from Kathmandu. From Lukla, you shall head off to Phakding, and spend the night there. Next day, crossing the Hillary Suspension Bridge, you shall reach Namche Bazar. You can take the entire day exploring Namche Bazar and visit the Sherpa Museum located there. From Namche Bazar, you shall head off to Dingboche and visit the large monastery of the Everest region. Next day, you shall make to Lobuche, and then to Gorakshep, from where you shall march towards the Everest Base Camp. Once you reach the Everest Base Camp, you shall be engulfed by the beauty of the mountain and landscape there. From the base camp, you shall return back to Gorakshep to spend the night. Next day, you shall make to the top of the Kalapatthar early in the morning, then, return back to Pheriche. Via Photse Tanga, you shall reach Namche Bazar. Next day, you shall reach to Lukla and part away from the guide and porters.
March to May and September to November are considered the best times for doing this trek. The Everest base camp trek map
