What currency to take while I travel to Nepal?
You can convert the currency you have into Nepalese Rupee or 'Rs' and 'NRP' through money exchangers, ATM, wire services, and cash advance credit cards in popular cities of Nepal. However, if your currency is lesser known, do convert it in Kathmandu.

What is the best time to trek to Everest Base Camp?
April through to May, and September through to November, are considered the ideal time to trek to Everest Base Camp. During spring the climate remains less cold than that of winter. Autumn season is a busy season for EBC trek.

How difficult is the Everest Base Camp trek?
You don't need an extraordinary physical fitness to ascend to EBC. Go slow and let your body acclimatize. If you are physically fit to walk for 6-8 hours every day on an average, and have few trekking experiences in hilly and mountain region (though it is not required, but is an added advantage), you will easily complete this trek.

Is Everest Base Camp trekking safe?
EBC trekking isn't dangerous; all you need to do is take time for acclimatization, stay hydrated, have hygienic food, and stay warm. Though weather may not be stable, remember that the weather forecasting procedure has improved a lot. 

What type of physical fitness do I need to have?
You should have long endurance power, and be reasonably fit. You shouldn't be suffering from any disease and shouldn't have any ankle or knee problem.

What type of food can I expect during EBC trekking?
Breakfast consists of tea or coffee with eggs, potatoes, or toast. A typical Nepal lunch dish shall include Dal Bhat, rice, veggies, lentil soup, etc. You can get pasta, noodles, potatoes, rice, etc. for dinner.

What is the cost of Everest Base Camp?
In an average, you might incur somewhere around USD $ 2,000 for a 15-days package, including all the costs of meals, accommodation, round trip flights from Kathmandu to Lukla, permits, TIMS, etc.

How long does it take to get to Everest Base Camp?
Normally we have packages ranging from 10-22 days to get to Everest Base Camp. The time to reach to EBC depends upon where we start from, how we start, where we stay, how much time we assign for acclimatization and so forth.
